Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers and content producers
  • Write, modify, and debug software for server applications
  • Write code to create multi-threaded, networked server applications
  • Use source debuggers, program dumps, and performance monitoring tools
  • Test and document software for server applications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently without direct supervision and with minimal guidance
  • Thorough knowledge of Visual Studio/Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, .NET and Java Script
  • Experience in Unidata and System Builder strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-5 years of programming/coding experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance existing and new company websites
  • Able to scale projects efficiently, while maximizing performance and minimizing costs
  • Oversee development teams and coordinate strategies to make sure the technologies are interconnected and product lines are working smoothly
  • Evaluate systems and networks to ensure all procedures are running correctly
  • Validate that internal and external standards are being followed when it comes to design, application requirements and proper maintenance (Security, Company, etc.)
  • Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy company’s software
  • Execute product specification, system design, software development (programming) and system integration
  • Develop new product concepts, and deliver product prototypes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience effectively working independently without direct supervision and with minimal guidance
  • Extensive knowledge of several programming languages, including Visual Studio/Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, .NET and Java Script.  Experience in Unidata and System Builder strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, and expert level with Excel

Accounting Associate – Job Post

Job Description

Accounting Associate

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Accounting Associate will under limited supervision provide accounting support, requiring familiarity with and experience in accounting office practices. Duties include, but are not limited to, computing, classifying, recording and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records, and may include Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Cash Control and General Ledger activities.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • A/R cash posting including daily deposits of checks and funding received.
  • Process weekly customer contract cancels.
  • Invoice Sellers for amounts paid by American Auto Shield for cancels on behalf of the Seller.
  • Prepare reports and summarize down payments received for different programs.
  • With access to online banking, initiate and process Front Range Payment Systems ACH payments daily as needed.
  • Enter and process specific A/P for all companies.
  • Send Invoices and monthly A/R Statements as required.
  • Complete bank reconciliations for all companies.
  • Process and reconcile all Credit Card monthly statements for all companies
  • Input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
  • Act as a backup for processing and auditing claims payments to repair facilities.
  • Reconcile GL accounts.
  • Perform audit requests, which may require independent analysis.
  • Prepare various accounting schedules, reports and projects as needed.
  • Responsible for all filing for bills, bank statements and other documentation.
  • Various other clerical duties as needed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

  • 2+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • QuickBooks experience strongly preferred (or similar accounting software)
  • A/P and A/R experience
  • Merchant Processing experience helpful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with skills above basic to intermediate level of expertise in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Experience working with, and the practices needed to maintain confidential data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and work in an environment with competing priorities

Automotive Claims Rep & Claims Tech – Job Post

2 Positions Available:
(1) Automotive Claims Representative
(1) Claims Technician

American Auto Shield provides customer service and claims management through our call center for customers whom have purchased automotive service agreements. If you are looking for a role that allows you to use your automotive expertise and work in a comfortable office setting, the Automotive Claims Representative or the Claims Technician position may be the role for you.

We currently have two positions available; a Claims Representative and a Claims Technician. Both positions do require basic knowledge of automobiles, ability to communicate effectively and respectively with customers who at times may not be in the best of moods, and the ability to talk and type at the same time in order to document the call for team members. The roles do require you to be on phones throughout the majority of the shift.

The Claims Tech role does require an ASE certification in drive trains, automatic transmissions and engines, whereas the Claims Rep does not.

These roles are day positions; Monday through Friday, although we are exploring Saturday coverage. Overtime does occur but rarely, and normally employees work a 40 hour work week.

We do offer a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, paid time off and more. The work environment is an office setting with natural light. The American Auto Shield office is located off of I70 West & Cole Blvd (near the Colorado Mills Shopping Center). Experience and ASE certifications will be taken into consideration when determining compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle a high volume of claim traffic, which will be a combination of mechanical claims submitted electronically and by phone
  • Verify Service Contract coverage and validate repair being performed
  • Verify part and labor charges as requested by the repair facility
  • Apply adjustments as required to part pricing MSRP, labor to a Nationally Recognized Labor Time Guide, and Client reimbursement guidelines
  • Further question or investigate any parts and/or labor discrepancies in order to agree on coverage or on the amount to be reimbursed
  • Resolve inquiries from Repair Facilities and Agreement Holders regarding claim and/or payment status
  • Review inspection reports and photos to further determine claim liability
  • Assist with other responsibilities as directed
